Melbourne Yacht Club will be starting our Fourth of July holiday with a BANG by hosting the FIRECRACKER REGATTA. The regatta will be run on the friendly waters of the Indian River just South of the Melbourne Causeway. The regatta is open to all monohulls. There will be a PHRF class and one design class for 5 or more like class boats. Races will be set up for around the bouys racing. The One-Design fleet will have a typical W/L course. This will all be orchistrated by the Principle Race Officer Patrick Lambert,who we know will manage a very professional, challanging and fun regatta. It is a patriotic weekend so show your spirit with patriotic apparel and boat decorations.
The bar will be open with bar snacks, and food for purchase. Our bar director is working on supplying a patriotic beer like perhaps,

There will be a mini-keg available at no cost to our patriotic participating racers.

9:00 AM Check In/Registration opens (you must be registered on website)
10:30 AM Registration closes
11:00 AM Competators meeting begins
